Cotton‘s Caribbean Rum Shack

Where: Boxpark, London

 

With restaurants in Camden and Islington, Cotton’s is spreading its wings East. With 250 varieties of rum, the mini restaurant chain will be serving a Caribbean buffet at lunchtime and Caribbean tapas – a selection of grilled dishes over the evening.

One of many restaurants to be opening up on The Shard this year. The owners of Zuma and Roka restaurants are opening their new venture, with a rotisserie and grill, where you can enjoy spit-roasted joints, charcoal grill and wood-fired bread and pizza, a delicious enough sounding menu to cure anyone of vertigo.

Following a successful stint of ‘Dessert Deli’, chef Laura Amos is hosting another Sunday lunch at her kitchen in Battersea. It’s £25 for a hearty lunch, and – the winning thing –  there’s also delicious dessert AND it’s BYOB!!

Menu will be Roast Pork with the works, followed by a dessert from The Dessert Deli Cookbook.

The current line up of exhibitors includes a wide range of artisanal coffee roasters and independent coffee shops, industry suppliers and branded coffee chains.

Exhibitors will showcase new products and unveil fresh innovations targeted to both industry insiders and the general public, with a focus on celebrating the coffee industry and promoting new development. Among those already confirmed are Allpress Espresso Roastery, Alpro Soya, Bean About Town, Caffé Fratelli, Costa Coffee, Delonghi, Joe & the Juice, La Cimbali, La Marzoccco, Matthew Algie, Mulmar, Rancilio, SEDA, Starbucks and Union Hand-Roasted.
