The icing on the cake came in the form of an excellent reconstructed chocolate and cherry trifle
The food is mainly small plates and pizzas. We didn’t taste the latter, but they looked very good
And Caravan, for the most part, is doing what it does very well indeed
The pancetta, Serrano ham, green olive and Taleggio pizza is lovely; but again, too small for £9.50

Thanks to top notch food, affordable prices and a trendy, upbeat vibe, this one is set to be just as popular.
Most of the ingredients for a lovely restaurant, albeit one stuffed full of fashion types and Guardian hacks, are in place
